Ready to push your capabilities and build real-world confidence with your handgun? This advanced course is designed for experienced shooters looking to elevate their tactical performance. Whether you’re training for self-defense, personal growth, or professional readiness, this class delivers high-level, hands-on instruction in a demanding, performance-driven environment.

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

  • Active or retired Law Enforcement or Peace Officer
  • Attended at least two (2) sessions of Aim Small Firearms Tactical Pistol Club
  • Successfully completed a basic tactical handgun course from a reputable training institution (e.g., Sig Academy, Gunsite, Front Sight, Smith & Wesson Academy) — proof required

Additionally:
You must demonstrate safe and efficient weapon handling on demand.

  • Students unable to perform required skills will be removed without refund
  • Any safety violation will result in immediate dismissal — no warnings, no refunds
  • If you are not yet at this level, training pathways are available to help prepare you for future sessions.

Course Highlights
This fast-paced, immersive training focuses on real-world application and advanced skill development, including:

  • Strong-hand and support-hand only shooting, reloads, and malfunction clearance
  • Advanced fundamentals: grip, stance, sight picture, and trigger control
  • Shooting on the move: engaging multiple targets while advancing, retreating, and using cover
  • Rapid threat response from all directions (left, right, and rear)
  • Close-contact engagements (within 3 feet)
  • Alternate shooting positions for tactical advantage
  • Efficient draw and presentation under pressure

This is performance-based training emphasizing movement, speed, use of cover, and total weapon awareness.

Required Equipment

Holster:

  • Must properly fit your firearm and be secured to a sturdy belt
  • IWB or OWB permitted
  • No soft nylon or neoprene holsters
  • Leather holsters must be rigid and in excellent condition
  • Must fully cover the trigger guard
  • No off-body carry methods (bags, belly bands, etc.)

Firearm:

  • Reliable handgun (striker-fired, DA/SA, or 2011-style recommended)
  • Double-stack magazines preferred
  • Optics must be zeroed with fresh batteries (bring spares)

Ammunition:

  • 300 rounds (factory-loaded)
  • 9mm available on-site ($15 per box of 50 rounds); other calibers by arrangement

Attire & Gear:

  • Weather-appropriate outdoor clothing
  • Athletic footwear suitable for movement
  • Eye and ear protection
  • Snacks and hydration

Whether you’re training for self-defense, personal growth, or professional readiness, this class delivers high-level, hands-on instruction that will challenge and elevate your performance.

In this immersive course, you’ll master essential advanced techniques, including:

• Safe and effective handgun handling & storage
• Refining the fundamentals – grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control
• Drawing from the holster and re-holstering efficiently and SAFELY
• Tactical & emergency reloads under pressure
• Engaging multiple targets efficiently
• Malfunction management – learn to identify and clear stoppages quickly
• Defensive shooting under stress – timed proficiency drills
• Legal awareness & defensive mindset – understanding the responsibility that comes with carrying

This course places a strong emphasis on drawing from concealmentemergency reloads, and malfunction drills, ensuring you leave with the confidence and skill to perform under pressure.

Spots are extremely limited to maintain a high instructor-to-student ratio. If you meet the qualifications, secure your seat and come prepared to perform.
