Welcome to aim small
We are a full service firearms training school offering our clients the finest training available with FBI and NRA certified firearms instructors who are also NYS law enforcement instructors. Our team is based in Westchester County, NY.
We are dedicated to preparing all firearms owners with the training that is needed to be prepared to safely carry, use and defend oneself. We know that proper training is the key to safety and that without training you will never be prepared to effectively use your firearms. Whether you are a hunter who wants to be more proficient, a shooter who wants to develop self defense skills, or a law enforcement officer who would like to stay qualified, we have a class or program for you.
We believe proper training is the key to safety, so we focus on ongoing, affordable instruction rather than one-and-done courses. Led by founder Sgt. Paul J. Conforti (Retired), our NRA certified firearms instructors are committed to making every student the safest, most confident marksman possible. Most courses are held at the Blue Mountain Sportsman Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

It is our belief and goal to train each and every student to reach their maximum potential. We don’t push one-size-fits-all, “leveled” training courses, because no shooter truly masters a firearm after a single class. Real skill is built through consistent, hands-on practice over time. That’s why we offer both initial instruction and ongoing, continuing training at an affordable cost — so you can keep sharpening your abilities without straining your budget.
We will not be satisfied until every one of our students has the skills to confidently and effectively defend themselves. Our NRA certified firearms instructors are committed to making each student the safest, most capable, and most confident marksman they can be. From your very first question to your most advanced drill, we’re always available to offer guidance, answer questions, and give suggestions.
