One-day NRA Basic Rifle Course teaches basic rifle shooting skills. This comprehensive course is designed for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills. The curriculum includes extensive range time, where students can practice under the guidance of certified instructors, and all necessary equipment such as a loaner .22 cal rifle and .22 cal ammunition, along with NRA instructional materials.
Upon course completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion and may be eligible for a discount on future courses, which allow them to advance their shooting skills even further.

Additionally, the NRA Basic Rifle Course covers maintenance and care of rifles, teaching participants how to clean and store their firearms correctly. This knowledge is crucial for any responsible gun owner.
In this course, participants will learn about the fundamental principles of rifle shooting, including safety protocols, proper stance, breathing techniques, and aiming methods. Practical exercises will enhance participants’ skills, allowing them to gain confidence while shooting.

Loaner Weapons: We understand that not everyone has access to a firearm, which is why we provide loaner weapons for those who need them. This ensures that all participants can fully engage in the course without the worry of bringing their own equipment.
There will be a $25.00 fee for loaner weapons per course. Some courses include loaner weapons at no charge. Ammo is available at an additional fee. We recommend checking with us regarding specific weapon availability ahead of time.
Weapons available – If you are looking to shoot a specific firearm, please call us ahead of time. We strive to accommodate your preferences and may be able to obtain a variety of firearms for your experience. Currently, we offer:

Carbine Rifles for varied shooting experiences
Henry Repeating Arms for classic shooting appeal
Remington Model 700 for precision shooting
Youth stock shotguns and rifles for young shooters
Range and weapon rentals are available – Call for more information. We offer tailored packages to cater to different group sizes and needs. Fees are determined upon request as they depend on the length of time and the type of weapons used. Ammo fees are always separate, and an adequate lead time is necessary to allow for ammo delivery. We maintain a stock of most common ammo, but the quantity can vary, so it’s advisable to discuss this beforehand.
Due to range time pricing, some courses may not be available for small class sizes. Prices are subject to change without notice, but once booked, the price is locked in, ensuring you know what to expect.
All fees must be paid in full on the day of the class. A $75.00 deposit is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Deposits can be paid by check, Venmo, Chase Quick Pay, Zelle, or PayPal. Final payments must be in cash or check. We advise confirming payment methods in advance.
